Bug

The acorn never falls far from the tree? Granddad Valentine had a VW bug which he used as rural mail carrier.  I was impressed as a child with its ability in the mud and snow. Warmth was not a concern on the inside...so I was told? Granddad Wilkerson has a Austin Healy, he was not impressed with British mechanics.  It can still be seen at a salvage yard mounted atop a pole near Abilene. Pop said they did the world a service! And now I have a '65 BUG and a '67 Austin Healy Kit. It has all American runnin gear and wiring!  I ask myself is this coincidence? Acorn...Tree...Maybe...
