Childhood Memories

It is just a wonder we are able to remember anything after some of the playground equipment we were expected to play on. The merry go rounds were metal ,fast & superheated from being in the sun all day. I don't remember there being a soft spot to land on around unless you count mud  & it was full of gravel! The swings were not much better. Fun to jump out of at full height but you had better keep an out for empty swings! I didn't even mention the metal slides or monkey bars. It is a wonder that more of us didn't quit school because of recess....
